“Fatemeh, Lady of Kindness”? Int’l Forum Planned in Tehran

Navideshahed- Secretary General of Muslim Women’s World Union said an international forum on the virtues of Hazrat Fatemeh (SA) will be held on April 20 in Tehran.

Speaking at a press conference earlier this week, Tuba Kermani said that the first edition of the international program titled “Fatemeh (SA); Lady of Kindness-Mother of Her Father”? will be held with the participation of Muslim women from different Islamic schools of thought.
The event will be addressed by Ali Larijani, speaker of Iran’s Majlis (Islamic Consultative Assembly) and Ayatollah Araki, Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought.
The conference hall of Milad Tower in Tehran will host the event, to be attended by intellectual women and female scholars from various countries.
15 women from Iran, Lebanon, Tunisia, Bahrain and a number of other countries will be honored at the international event.
Kermani also said that the birth anniversary of Hazrat Fatemeh (SA) and the international women’s day is the best opportunity to introduce the World Union of Muslim Women and its activities.
She added that the 19 members of the union are women from Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, Lebanon, Bahrain and Iran.
Promoting the intellectual potential of Muslim women all over the world in order to enable them to actively get involved in scientific-cultural fields is the main objective of the union, she said.
